I understand that unittest2 isn't very useful to us, but at least it's compatible - without patches - with current py-funcsigs. I wouldn't strongly object to its removal, but there's another way: prod upstream to get rid of this dep / make it optional, and kill unittest2 as soon as funcsigs doesn't need it.
