I have a diff in the pipeline, but it's not complete yet. I think 3.0 should be a new port, as it drops some libraries needed by a couple of ports, and upstream clearly wants it to be installed with "-3.0" suffixes everywhere. FreeBSD also has 2.8 and 3.0 as separate ports. -- Anthony J. Bentley
