The others are

lynx-2.8.9p15.log
qpdf-5.1.2.log

Since these ports failing mean only 199 of my approx. 400 ports even
attempted to build so there may very well be others further down the
line.

I am running dpb as root on an amd64 box dedicated to building the
ports. NFS /usr/ports and /usr/ports/packages. The snap installed on
the box and the ports tree are -current as of 4 hours or so ago and
include the latest perl update.

It last worked last week some time as far as I can tell.

I've poked around but can't see any reason the modes would have
changed or be handled differently over the last few days. The 'weird
mode' messages seems to have existed in the pkg code for more than a
year!

sthen@ muttered something about umask sensitivity, but I haven't
changed the umask statement in root's .profile from the installed
'umask 022'.

Anybody with a cluebat to apply? Logs or any other detailed info
available to interested parties on request.
