After upgrading to -current twirssi, my twitter client of choice, broke. I've investigated and found the issue to be a slightly out of date Net::Twitter. net/p5-Net-Twitter is at version 4.00006 but the latest at https://github.com/semifor/Net-Twitter is version 4.01008. Somewhere in there Net::Twitter was fixed to not use Class::MOP::load_class and instead switch to Class::Load::load_class; the version in ports still uses the deprecated way which is why it fails to load. Since the issue is already fixed in the upstream Net::Twitter I thought I'd point it out here. I patched my Twitter.pm and twirssi works again, saving me from the ravages of the twitter web site...
