An addition to the header which AFAIK constitutes an API
change (PNG_SKIP_sRGB_CHECK_PROFILE).

IMHO if we want to upgrade at least a bulk with this diff should be made.
I have diffed the trees, the only change that is likely to affect
builds of other software is PNG_CALLOC_SUPPORTED, I am ag'ing unpacked
ports source now to see if that's actually going to affect things.
I don't see anything in there that would make a full bulk build
necessary.
