The htpasswd file support in the productivity/radicale caldav server is rather weak, I've only ever got it to work with unsalted sha hashes or des crypt (UGH!), and the pkg readme no longer works with base htpasswd.
If there's anyone with python skills and a bit of spare time, it would be nice to get this working with proper bcrypt password storage...
