Indeed. The problem is older versions of snort (2.8.6) in ports (OpenBSD release 5.2), cannot be used with the latest rules from Sourcefire so I'm basically backporting it on some of our systems. The main problem would be mismatch of dependencies in ports on installs? > (btw, with the time_t changes in -current, tests on earlier versions are > much less useful than usual right now).
