I reported similar issue to espie@ sometime in Feb '13 while building xpdf. This wasn't port specific as I noticed it with a few different ports. I have not attempted a ports build of my own since. This was the first time I noticed this issue while building my own ports. The only difference, besides the OBSD version (all snapshots btw), this particular time I was running an MP kernel whilst building ports. Possibly relevant points: - MP kernel (as mentioned). - ports directory is on a different mount point than /usr/ports. /usr/ports is a soft-link to the actual ports directory. - ports directory on an externally connected (via USB) PATA disk. --patrick
