There were some intentional changes to the font support in Chromium 22.x, http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=155462 http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=152304 http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=146407 I don't like it all that much either..
