A short update after a long time of not having any time for looking
after this: After fiddling with the distribution jars a little and
updating the PLIST, it works, or at least it seems to do so.

Of course, it needs a ridiculous amount of memory and CPU, much more
than a ten year old laptop can handle, but at least it runs.

The first time I tried starting it (after bumping the memory limits) the
machine hung itself, but I cannot reproduce it anymore---might as well
be some obscure hardware or memory issue or whatever. If it happens
again, I'll try to investigate.


For what it's worth, all tests done on 5.1-RELEASE (with that slight
modification to including libxul as mentioned in my other post) on
i386---I can't afford the hassle of tracking current at the moment and
don't have a spare computer where I could do it.
