BTW, databases/ports-readmes is static. It's probably not difficult for someone who wants to learn Catalyst to write mostly the same thing as a dynamic application.
I chose catalyst because it includes a self-contained small web server, so it can be installed without needing any configuration. One mostly has to walk through the tutorial, and probably bypass the Model part entirely, since we already have the DB (or turn that into a small model). One benefit would be to add search capabilities to the index, for instance...
