Well, I'm running a patched version of generator on amd64, it only
crashes occasionally (the unpatched version crashes on startup for
me).  Attached is the patch I'm using.  IIRC, compiling with -g works
around the crash at startup, the rest of the patch is just makes it
nicer to use.

I'll test dgen-sdl.  Assuming it works correctly, I'm OK with removing
generator.  It'll be nice to have a decent Genesis emulator in-tree.
