Hi, I need some advice on getting libevent2 tree-ready.
Wanted to monkey-update transmission and ran into the libevent2
dependency.
Base, won't be updated to libevent2, somehow this will have to be dealt
with in the ports tree.
As libevent2 is supposed to be backwards compatible, a libevent2 port
should replace libevent-extra.
But, i am stuck, the port as attached is wrong, in so many ways.
Can't even get transmission to pick up the libs.
Ash on my humble neck-attachment, I'd love to be pointed in the right
direction, where to look. Even some search-terms I might read up on
would be much apreciated.
