well, i had never done the switch, however i was simply unaware ;) i read this thread this morning and immediately switched, upgrading my 'youtube without flash' greasemonkey script to its latest ver and i'm quite pleased with how well gecko-mediaplayer/gnome-mplayer are working inside firefox for youtube. much better than any adobe flash-based solution has ever worked; i can't even watch most youtube clips on my windows machine with the official adobe flash. i do believe i vote mplayerplug-in to the attic as well, regards, -ryan
