I've just had a look and fixed a few issues. - FETCH_PACKAGES and PKG_PATH are actually the same problem. A stupid typo that broke PKG_PATH > 1 entries very thoroughly. Should be back to normal. - pkg_add now correctly yields an error in cases where it should. So trying "make update" will fail instead of proceeding as if things were alright in cases where things are NOT alright.
I will try to have a look at -D installed -D downgrades not working soonish...
