hi there, thanks for the new mplayer, nice work.
there were some things that needed looking into (arrows stopped working in the osd menu -- new stuff from examples/menu.conf) but one thing i cannot seem to crack is that the osd (and the subtitle) disappears when i pause the player. i tried to google for this but couldn't find a solution. the pause menu item from the distributions menu.conf behaves the same way too. as i pause most of the time to catch a longer subtitle line, i find the current behaviour a bit annoying. anyone has a cure for this? -f -- time is the best teacher, unfortunately it kills all its students.
