I dont understand then, does it make any sense what I describe in relationship to this bug?
Truth is that when I manually turn it off in the php.ini my problems go away. Why do you say that there is a patch in place, but when I go to: http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/ports/www/php5/core/patches/?only_with_tag=OPENBSD_4_5 I dont see such path, which in previous threads was called "patch-ext_suhosin_suhosin_c" .
