Don't know if this is serious, but here it is:

$ gmplayer  
MPlayer SVN-r29414-snapshot-3.3.5 (C) 2000-2009 MPlayer Team
Compiler did not align stack variables. Libavcodec has been miscompiled
and may be very slow or crash. This is not a bug in libavcodec,
but in the compiler. You may try recompiling using gcc >= 4.2.
Do not report crashes to FFmpeg developers.

I haven't noticed any "slowness" or crashes though. amd64 -current
system.
