I have essentially the same at http://www.bsdhosting.co.za/~jamesw/ports/net/p5-Net-OSCAR/ except for the addition of XML::Parser as a dep. and using the new Makefile.template: (VAR\s=\t+VALUE) I see I was going to add the oscar*,snacsnatcher and xmlcache scripts to my port and never got round to it. You might consider it, as the module does seem a little fragile.
