Xapian is an Open Source Search Engine Library, released under the GPL. It's written in C++, with bindings to allow use from Perl, Python, PHP, Java, Tcl, C#, and Ruby (so far!) This version includes the following changes versus Benoit's previous port: - updated from version 1.0.2 to the latest version (1.0.11) - category changed from productivity to textproc - REGRESS_TARGET added I've tested on i386 by indexing a few thousand docs and running some queries which all seems to work for me.
