sndio and lang/squeak

is anyone working on adding sndio support to lang/squeak/vm?  It looks 
like a fairly simple API in platforms/unix/vm-sound-*, and the 
conversion to sndio would enable us to get audio recording in the vm 
(and a vm seems to be a good fit for a 'virtual' sound api like 
sndio+aucat).  If noone is looking at it, I will look at it, as I have a 
need for it, but it will only be in a week or two.

Speaking of VMs and sndio, is anyone working on devel/jdk/1.n and 
sndio?  Just out of curiosity, as I wouldn't volunteer for that one..
