I'd prefer to not add more jack stuff until jack2 has been released. jack1 probably won't get a sndio backend, but I will make one for jack2. it may be a while until jack2 is official, but from what I've read, it's better designed, more portable and more reliable. it is not designed by the orginal jack developers, but by someone who actually cares about !linux ... and was the person who imported the audio(4) backend into jack1. -- jake...@sdf.lonestar.org SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org
