Hi, This is my first draft of a new port of SDL3. This is the latest version of the popular application/multimedia library, released earlier this year. This builds and passes most of the tests. I can't speak to how it works in applications yet. As some ports are bound to switch to SDL3 over time, bugs may show.
I have heard of a couple of ports already developing with SDL3,
including: fluidsynth, FNA/faudio/fna3d, and ioquake3.
The port category is still devel/ (like for sdl2). If interested in
choosing a different category with the new major version, maybe
multimedia/ would be a reasonable fit for sdl3?
