You can use /usr/src/lib/check_sym $ /usr/src/lib/check_sym /usr/ports/pobj/lowdown-1.1.2/fake-amd64/usr/local/lib/liblowdown.so.1.0 /usr/local/lib/liblowdown.so.1.0 /usr/ports/pobj/lowdown-1.1.2/fake-amd64/usr/local/lib/liblowdown.so.1.0 --> /usr/local/lib/liblowdown.so.1.0 No dynamic export changes Or you could look at the diff and see that there are no changes to lowdown.h.
