yes, i haven't looked deeper. there's https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1882464 and https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1883994 and https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1881775 but that doesnt lead us to the original change in behaviour.
