This may sound a lot of work, but if everything goes fine (and this happen sometimes!), it's not much more work than bumping the version, updating the distfiles, ensure pkg/PLIST is fine with "make update-plist" and send the diff if the result works for you You can find information in https://www.openbsd.org/faq/ports/ if you want to learn more about the porting / packaging processes
