There is a quirk which I forgot to mention: when I do a notmuch search using :cf, the new "folder" is added to the left with the number of results, but the right pane says "(no messages)". If I :cf with the same search a second time, the messages appear. It seems the messages appear as long as I've :cf'd with that specific search before in the same session; it still works if I do intermediate searches. Maybe some kind of cacheing is involved? -- James
