that's one data point, but do you have zathura-pdf-mupdf-0.3.8 or zathura-pdf-mupdf-0.3.8p0 installed ? only the latter has stuart's fix (https://github.com/openbsd/ports/commit/11f36733ca2bddc98932283aac772c7bd9bae1ff) if its not on the mirrors yet you can build it from a -current portstree to check. I've locally built it and zathura correctly opens pdfs here. Landry
