I'm embarrassed to say that I did have a working port, but the performance was pretty bad (7x slower than the same hardware running Fedora and I couldn't append tapes). I was under the gun to get backups ready for the weekend and formatted the drive with Fedora to get Bacula working. It was only moments in to the install process when I smacked my forehead: my ports tree just got erased! So, I'm hoping to have some time coming up soon to work on it. -ME
