Hi Porters, I could imagine the time is right, so soon after the release. I would like to import initial wayland ports and thus also a new category "wayland".
I realise that it will take time for wayland to work, but that is not important for now. Example: x11/kde-applications/spectacle Spectacle needs kwayland/qtwayland as a strong dependency (I can build this) to be able to take screenshots under either X11 or wayland. Means it is not needed at runtime but we can update it. (Currently stuck at a very old version). Does this make sense to you? Is a new category OK for you? I would be very happy to receive feedback from all porters. BTW: This work is only possible because to FeeBSD's wayland patches and sthen@'s work on devel/epoll-shim. Thanks!
