I am able to add the package sleuthkit-1.73p0.tgz without problems but cannot successfully run make from the autopsy-2.08.tar.gz or from the 2.06 version. This is the output I get from make: ____________________________________________________________________ # make
Autopsy Forensic Browser Installation ./configure[77]: test: <: unexpected operator/operand perl found: /usr/bin/perl (version v5.8.8) --------------------------------------------------------------- Autopsy uses the grep utility from your local system. grep found: /usr/bin/grep --------------------------------------------------------------- Autopsy uses forensic tools from The Sleuth Kit. http://www.sleuthkit.org/sleuthkit/ Enter the directory where you installed it: /usr/local/share/sleuthkit The Sleuth Kit was not found (try again): ____________________________________________________________________ I am not sure where the actual program is located. After the package is installed is it still called sleuthkit? The readme files in /usr/local/share/doc/sleuthkit reference The Coroner's Toolkit. Your help is appreciated.
