Hi ports -- I looked into fixing editors/beaver with -fno-common and it looks like it will be a lot of effort for a port that has been dead for over 10 years at this point. Plus, we have lots of other lightweight text editors and if you build with -fcommon, beaver segfaults when trying to select plugins.
I searched through the other beaver packages that repology.org knows about and could not find an -fno-common fix (not even someone saying to just use -fcommon). Is anyone using it? Should we remove it? ~Brian
