Of course for the (U)pgrade part, people should indeed use sysupgrade. I use the install part because some providers don't provide a pleasant-to-use console. Since I never use the default partitioning, I just craft a special bsd.rd with upobsd, put in /bsd, and reboot. If you still want to remove it, can you send me the latest sources?
