Hello there, I am trying to change the language of the user interface to in my case German in openoffice, but with no luck so far.
The installed packages are the following: # pkg_info | grep openoffice openoffice-2.1.0p4 a multi-platform productivity suite openoffice-i18n-de-2.1.0p0 de language pack for OpenOffice.Org openoffice-java-2.1.0p0 optional integration of OpenOffice java features on -current i386 from last week. Tools->Options->Language Settings->User Interface gives only Default or English (USA), although the relevant files seem to be installed in /usr/local/openoffice/program/resource. What else has to be done to change the language of the user interface? I tried google, Readmes, MESSAGE, etc. but found nothing appropriate (besides "install the language pack from openoffice.org"). So could anyone point me into the right direction? Thank you! Dan
