FWIW, these are considered "unstable" by the upstream author.  I've
been running successfully with them for a while, though, and since
there are probably people who really really want this...

No problem, I'm going to take over.

People who are currently using other clients should really look at
rtorrent.  The user interface isn't pretty (also best seen with >80
columns), but highly functional.

rtorrent pros:
* Light resource usage.  Extremely lightweight compared to the mainline
  Python monstrosity.
* Ability to download only individual files out of a torrent.
* Supports UDP trackers.
* Scheduling.
* NEW: Encryption support.  In case your ISP uses packet inspection
  to recognize BitTorrent connections and throttle their bandwidth.
