You did get a reply from this list. You asked if there was a reason
that the port hadn't been updated. Nikolay said no.

No, as you've been told before.

Why don't you? Ports get updated when people send diffs. The process
is well-documented, and the list is helpful if you run into trouble.
It would be useful to try contacting the maintainer again,
especially if you have a patch in hand. If you still don't get any
feedback, send the patch to the list and note that the maintainer
didn't respond.
