I hope you're suggesting one _milter user and not a unique _milterX user
for each individual milter.

I'd  vote  for  one  _milter user in one _milter group (not that my vote
counts for much :-)

Never  having  played  with  milters in sendmail I don't have any useful
suggestions  other  than  a  preference  for using postfix defaults when
feasible.
