Greetings, I sent this patch to maintainer of the port. But have not yet heard from him since sent date of April 4, 2006. I believe that is ample/acceptable amount of time before forwarding it to the ports@
One thing worth noting is that this interface library is no longer maintained by its author. In favor of: http://search.cpan.org/~dbdpg/DBD-Pg-1.49/Pg.pm Either way, the p5-pgsql port is sufficient for my needs for very simple scripting/interfacing with PostgreSQL. --patrick --- patrick ~ <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Date: Tue, 4 Apr 2006 04:49:27 -0700 (PDT) > From: patrick ~ <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: p5-pgsql patch > To: Markus Friedl <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Greetings Markus, > > I "imported" (exposed?) the PQescapeString interface from > PostgreSQL libpq into p5-pgsql module.
