Yup, I got those two errors but the cache seems fine too. Can't
remember if 0.2.4a did this.

Sure, attached is my daapd.conf (pointed to a smaller directory) plus
the output of `daapd -v`. What client are you using to access the
share? I have iTunes 6.0.4.2 on my windows machine. I haven't gotten
the daap client for rhythmbox working yet to see what that does.
