This is known, there is no akode in kde 3.5.1 for various reasons.
I hope we're going to lose the dependency on kdemultimedia...
Sorry I'm new to the OpenBSD variant, so I've probably missed a previous discussion somewhere: is there any way of clarifying these statements? I know kmultimedia is a pain, but I would be willing to lend a hand. I'm still in the process of learning the patches required to get KDE on OpenBSD running, but my patched version of kmultimedia (using akode and tunepimp) seems to be running find on -current. It does at least seem to play flac files if anyone is interested in diffs,
