Can't create a new link on KDE

 Hello,
 
 It looks like there is a bug in KDE (-current, binary packages).
 
 Right click on the desktop, select Create new -> Link to application and
try to create a new link. The following error popups twice:
 
 No rights to write to ~/Desktop/xxx.desktop
 
 And the file is created with rights 444, while user should have write
access to it.
