OK... very strange, since my first mail, I got everything working fine after
installing gnome-session (and all its dependencies) ???
I can now see all the icons, everything works as it should and I don't have the
"Open With" problem.
My limits are from the staff class:
time(cpu-seconds) unlimited
file(blocks) unlimited
coredump(blocks) unlimited
data(kbytes) 524288
stack(kbytes) 32768
lockedmem(kbytes) 435304
memory(kbytes) 435304
nofiles(descriptors) 1024
processes 256

I'll let you know if I can find the package that when I remove it, break my kde.
Thanks!
