Newbie alert! Has anyone had any success getting RRDTool 1.2.x (in my case 1.2.11) to compile? I've had a few goes at it using instructions at http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/rrdtool/doc/rrdbuild.en.html but I just can't seem to get it to work.
I keep getting issues like "Warning: This system can not link to static lib archive..." when linking to freetype 2 during the RRDTool compile, and when it does compile when it runs it throws a segmenttaion fault to do with some FreeType components. Sorry this is a bit light on info, but I'm hoping someone has done it and can give me a few tips about how to do it properly. Cheers, Tim.
