I have php 8.1 installed so I'm not sure if I need to upgrade that? I recently
just upgraded from 8.0....

Hi,
pear is currently broken post libxml2 upgrade with php81.
And as php81 is expiring in less than 6 months it's better to move to
php83/php84.
