Dear mates,
I have created a dynamic book reading system for computers called "readaratus".
Here is the features of the system:
- SI/Imperial unit conversion: Units written in text are detected
and converted.
- Figure referencing: When a sentence describes a graphical object
not present in the same page.
- Teleportation: The ability to jump to various locations within a book.
- Enhanced TOC: A slightly enhanced version of the TOC we find in
mainstream book reading applications.
- Dual-page text lookup: The ability to find sentences that are
split between two pages.
Building on your efforts readaratus is written on top of Poppler-glib
so I thought it would be natural to announce it here first. Please
give it a try and let me know your thoughts.
