Sorry, Albert. I'll make sure I send to the list in future.
I don't have any patches, since I did not change any thing in the Poppler
source. That is why I was making comparisons to the Qt 4 demo, I built around
it.
Maybe it woukd be better if we just leave it at this. Anyone who would like to
see my application, can just email me.

Hi Albert,
Hi, please always mail the list too, not just me, otherwise other people that
might want to add something to the conversation have no chance to do it.
My University keeps no such rights and I have received a go ahead from
the head of my department. I don't have any patches, but I did use the
original demo and "enhance" it. I can send a zip file with the source,
if that would be suitable?
I would really prefer you sent a patch since i have not much time and having a
diff is really helpful.
My idea was to include the software with the
Poppler soruces and have it compiled when someone installs Poppler on
their own machine. Just like the Qt 4 demo in the Poppler source.
Hmmm, as said the demo is supposed to be a demo, not a full blown application,
but once you send the patches we can have a look at what is useful in a demo
and what is not.
Thanks,
Albert

Hi,
Hi
I am a recent graduate of the Univeristy of Limerick, and for my Final
Year Project I developed some software that provides the functionality
to add text and pop up annotations to a PDF document. It utilises the
Poppler Qt 4 library and it is very user friendly; to add an annotation
the user simply double clicks on the page they wish to add to, and then
they enter their text. There is also some other functionality. I would
like to have it added to the Poppler source as a demo, if possible?
Do you have the agreemend from your University to relicense the code as
GPL2+?
From what i know some universities keep some rights over Final Year
Projects.
If you know it is fine to send the code please send the patches (one
patch per feature you want to add) and we'll have a look. But keep in
mind poppler qt4 demo is supposed to be a demo, not a full featured
program so we might reject some things.
Albert
