Hi all
yesterday I got a a pdf from a claws mail user which found a slowdown in
opening it.
As I received it, I notice that too and took a look at poppler source.
What I can see is that:
* poppler_render_page(...) is called one time
* Page::displaySlice(...) is called one time
* gfx::display(..) is called 26301 times instead of 1
The document property are:
Creator: PScript5.dll Version 5.2.2
Producer: Acrobat Distiller 7.0.5 (Windows)
Format: PDF-1.4
Optimized: Yes
I test it with evince and xpdf and it slowdown too, also if with xpdf it's
faster but still slow.
