Done the final tidying. Could you do the merge?

Before you merge there are a couple things you may find offensive that could be 
changed.
Perl is used in the compile process (I think I could do it with a few sed 
commands).
And the script extension is "script".

If you're fine with there then merge, if not then I'll change them.
