After all of that, I swapped it for a Cheap spare USB cable and it worked straight away. think that "Audio Grade" handmade cable the Shielding End to End was not connected. We measured it with a Multi-meter. This must be important to the Rasberry Pi. There is a shielding wire, but it must be only held in place with Heat Shrink.
