Yes - logging will only happen if player.source is set to DEBUG. To be on the safe side, I'll post an updated version with the latest sle188's code changes. IIRC it deals with cases with more than 2 applications in transcoding chain - typically users who have brutefir or bit rate limiting or similar which add an extra stage.
